This blog handles Soviet and post-Soviet contemporary environmental history (1960s to present). It analyzes the sometimes tumultuous processes associated with the ecologization and de-ecologization of politics and society in the Eastern parts of Europe. As a scientific blog, it reflects the research of a French-German team working on a three-year collective project financed by the German DFG and the French ANR.
